Natiuska Traña is not just a lawyer, she is a systems thinker, strategist, and a quiet architect of transformation. As the Founder of Bedrock Consultants, she has redefined what it means to practice law in emerging industries by combining rigorous legal counsel with visionary business design.

With over 15 years of experience as a corporate attorney and Notary Public, Natiuska has advised clients across the cannabis, fintech, telecom, real estate, and energy sectors. But what distinguishes her is not just expertise, it is clarity of purpose. Her work is rooted in a belief that legal strategy should do more than reduce risk; it should amplify meaning, unlock value, and design for legacy.

She is a recognized leader in the Latin American cannabis space, currently serving as Chair of the Medicinal Cannabis and Hemp Commission of the Costa Rican Bar Association and Vice Chair of Programs for the American Bar Association’s Food, Agriculture & Cannabis Committee.

Her journey in the cannabis space began in 2016, long before it was mainstream, when a client’s question evolved into a deep strategic commitment. Since then, she has been a key contributor to Costa Rica’s national dialogue on medicinal cannabis and a connector to global cannabis innovation hubs in the U.S. and Europe.

In 2025, Natiuska released Redefining Business Excellence, a powerful, narrative-rich manifesto that articulates her philosophy of “Legacy 3.0”: a paradigm shift where purpose is not a marketing tactic, but the structural DNA of a business. She writes from the “epicenter of change,” blending personal insight with legal intelligence, calling on professionals to lead with clarity, humility, and intention.
